Adding a Hardy Water Lily to your Pond helps in many ways.  Plants will feed, and grow off of the excess nutrients in your Pond Water, helping to Filter your water.  Excess nutrients left in your Pond lead to unsightly water conditions, such as algae growth.  Lilies also provide shelter for your Pond Fish from predators, and provide shade from the sun!

Hardy Water Lilies can be left in your Pond over Winter!  If Possible, We suggest dropping your Lily to a deeper section of your pond (about 2′ depth) for Winter.  Hardy Water Lilies will come back – year after year, larger and larger!  Some varieties are meant for large Ponds due to lily pad size and growth pattern, and some are best kept in smaller ponds.  We also recommend fertilizing your Lily in the Spring to increase bloom rates.  Lilies should transplanted to a larger pot every 2 years or so.

TIP: Lilies Do Not like to be placed near turbulent water (ie- near waterfall).
