Aquascapes 2″ Check Valve for Signature Series Skimmer Boxes and Pondless Waterfall Systems.
Check Valves are a necessary component when installing an Aquascapes skimmer box. Check valves are connected to your pump inside your skimmer box, which is then connected to your pipe that will run to your biofalls filter/waterfall. Using a check valve maintains the water level inside your biofalls when you shut your pump(s) off, thus keeping your biological filtration wet – which is needed to keep your beneficial bacteria alive. Using a check valve, also allows for easy pump removal and maintenance.
This Check Valve can be used with Signature Series Skimmers (and new model 400 & 1000) and the Pondless Waterfall Vault.
It can be used with the following pumps: Tsurumi 3PL, Tsurumi 5PL, Tsurumi 9PL & Tsurumi 8PN.
It can also be used with: AquascapePRO 3000, AquascapePRO 4500 & AquascapePRO 7500 pumps.
